It's Friday! I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend like I am. =) Two days of rest and sleep. As you can see, I'm trying to develop a storyline which concerns two characters named Nina and Sid. I don't actually remember what inspired me to write again. I wouldn't say its boredom coz I have some things going for me at work. maybe, it's just my way of getting my mind relaxed and exercising the creative genes I have (note: if I really do have that. hahaha.). I hope you enjoy reading about Nina and Sid and actually look forward to what happens next. Coz if you don't want to read about them, then i should stop writing and developing the story. right? =( eniweis, im out of here. enjoy your weekend guys. mwah!
The morning after…
Christine : whats up? hiding huh
Sid : a little
Christine : why?
Sid : I dunno
Christine : ok. Nina sent me a SMS saying you guys talked last night.
Sid : So you heard
Christine : i asked what you talked about and she told me, “same old,
same old”
Sid : I dont think its a good idea for me to talk to her anymore
Christine : what happened?
Sid : Basically, it was her telling me, "Im over you, give up"
Christine : ouch! really? she said that?
Sid : In more words than that, but yes
Christine : what did you say?
Sid : I tried to fight her on it but.... Just hurt
Christine : coz...?
Sid : She's done with me Chris...
Christine : and you believe her?
Sid : i dunno
Christine : do you believe her?
Sid : I dont know
Christine : why, do you not know?
Sid : She seemed so cold...
Christine : so, youre giving up?
Sid : Im not sure yet
Christine : so, what’s going in youre head? what are you feeling?
Sid : Im hurt. i didnt think she could be so cold
Christine : maybe she's just trying to be cold
Sid : I dunno. Can’t think. I was too hurt and kinda stunned
Christine : cant believe Nina can do that huh?
Sid : no i cant
Christine: sigh
Sid : Chris, im gonna go now. Got tons of work.
Christine : ok. you ok?
Sid : i will be
Christine : Sid, im just here… to listen and all.
Sid : I know
Christine : i hope everything's turn out good for both of you

Sid : heya. how have you been?
Nina: im ok
Sid: just ok?
Nina: yeah, getting by each day. U?
Sid: mmm im ok i guess.....
Nina: is there anything you need Sid?
Sid: oh.....ok So you want me to leave you alone?
Nina: i dont know… its really up to you....
Sid: i know what i want, but if you dont wana talk to me...
Nina: what do you want?
Sid: I wanna talk with you, Chat like we used too
Nina: why?
Sid: Cause i miss that
Nina: why?
Sid: Cause you were My best friend. Can you tell me you dont miss talking
with me like we used to?
Nina: no, i dont
Sid: you dont miss it?
Nina: no. it just reminds me of so many bad memories...
Sid: *Nods* Its does for me too, but for me....Its harder not to talk to you
Nina: and what? get close again and eventually get dumped or hurt?
Sid: Im not asking you to take that risk
Nina: what do you want from me?
Sid: I dont know, Id just like to talk to you
Nina: talk to me about what?
Sid: Bout nothing, everything, like we used to, just chat
Nina: and pretend that nothing happened?
Sid: No, just to forget about what happened
Nina: why?
Sid: So we can try to be friends
Nina: why would we do that? i have scars to remind me of things that happened...
Sid: I know... Im sorry
Nina: so why would we try to be friends?
Sid: But i want you as a friend
Nina: why?
Sid: Cause i like talking with you
Nina: its not that easy...
Sid: wont try?
Nina: cant you just forget about me? or forget that you ever met me? that would be easier for both of us…
Sid: It wouldnt
Nina: why wouldnt it be?
Sid: Coz i know it would be hard to forget about you, impossible
Nina: its not impossible. nothing's impossible. Put all my pics, stuff and all the things that remind you of me in a box and never open it. Its easy.
Sid: And are you doing the same? Or have you already?
Nina: i have already
Sid: So youre done with me?
Nina: we can never work out. you know that. you said that yourself
Sid: If thats what you wish
Nina: no Sid. i dont wish that. but thats the best thing we can do. and you were the first one who said we can never work out.
Sid: I’m not giving up just yet Nina. I’m not stubborn for nothing.
Nina: you taught me how to be tough. and you taught me how to turn my feelings on and off with ease.
Sid: Im sorry i taught you that
Nina: dont be. it has helped me cope with my life
Sid: *Sigh* ok then....good bye Nina
Nina: good bye Sid. wish you all the best
Sid: You too. One last question Nins...
Nina: yes?
Sid: Did you love me?
Nina: I did love you Sid...
Sid: I still love you Nina...always.

Sex and the City (SATC) has ended...i feel sad that it has. for many years I have been addicted to this hbo series which i find classy, realistic and truly deserved the word "girl power"! but on how it ended or with whom carrie ended up with, im not that thrilled (i love aidan and i find big to be an a-hole). SATC has defined what women should be like in the 21st century as like ally mcbeal is in the early 90s. It shows and tells you that women can be in control of their own lives and be able to survive in the city like New York. Its a show that grows on you. hehehe.
I always felt that I was a Miranda type of gal. But thinking about it more, I find bits and pieces of my personality with all of them. Miranda - blunt, a bit jaded, smart. Samantha- knows how to get what she wants. Charlotte- hopeless romantic and believes that marriage and forever happens and works. Carrie - (sigh!) can really be stupid when it comes to love. but also loves with all her heart. Yes, thats all of me in one way or another. =) Maybe, that's also the reason why SATC has been successful. Women can identify not only with one character and you go like "oh, thats kinda like me" while watching an episode.
And of course there's the fashion trend in SATC. really nice dresses, shoes and ensembles. makes me drool if you ask me. hehehe. Watching SATC through the years, i learned that: I should love myself and be a strong woman to deal with all my problems in the world. But like any other human being, i am allowed to break down once in a while, be hurt or even cry little. The important thing is how i get up after every hurt and live my life again. and of course, with a little help from my friends.
To quote Carrie form the final episode, "The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find that someone to love the "you" you love, well that's just fabulous. =)

my boyfriend is touring south luzon as i write this. well, not actually touring but more of working in south luzon. he will be there for a month and i miss him terribly already eventhough one week pa lang siya dun. sigh! i miss him so much. while surfing the net, i saw one of the songs that perfectly explains what i feel for him. and im sharing it with you guys. hope you like it too. The second engineer replied, "Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own
business when a Beautiful woman rode up on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her
clothes and said, "Take what you want."
The second engineer nodded approvingly, "Good choice; the clothes wouldn't have fit anyway."
Lesson: Don't bother to drop even the most obvious
hint, they can't catch anyway. (This is a reality! If you don't believe, test them!)

An engineer was crossing a road one day when a frog
called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn into
a beautiful princess." He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his
pocket. The frog spoke up again and said, "If you kiss me and
turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with
you for one week."
The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled
at it and returned it to the pocket. The frog then cried
out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful
princess I'll stay with you and do ANYTHING you want."
Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it
and put it back into his pocket. Finally, the frog asked,
"What is the matter? I've told you I'm a beautiful princess,
that I'll stay with you for a week and do anything you
want. Why won't you kiss me?" The engineer said, "Look I'm an
engineer. I don't have time for a girlfriend, but a
TALKING frog, now that's cool!
Lesson: Once again, gals, NEVER fall for an
